1. Service Description
AskChains is a blockchain-based question and answer platform where users can post questions with cryptocurrency rewards (USDT or POL) on the Polygon network. The best answer, as determined by the question asker's ratings, receives the reward automatically via smart contract.
2. Wallet Connection
To use AskChains, you must connect a compatible Web3 wallet (e.g., MetaMask) and authenticate via Sign-In with Ethereum (SIWE). You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet and private keys.
3. Questions and Rewards
When posting a question, you lock cryptocurrency in the AskChains smart contract. Once locked, funds can only be released through: (a) rating answers and distributing the reward to the winner, (b) cancellation before any answers are submitted, or (c) automatic refund if no answers are received before expiry.
4. Platform Commission
AskChains deducts a 7.5% commission from each reward distribution. The remaining 92.5% is sent directly to the winning answerer's wallet via the smart contract.
5. Content Moderation
All questions and answers are subject to automated AI moderation. Content that violates community guidelines (hate speech, harassment, illegal content, etc.) may be rejected or flagged for admin review. The platform reserves the right to remove content and block wallets that repeatedly violate these guidelines.
6. User Responsibilities
Users agree to: (a) provide truthful and helpful answers based on real experience, (b) not manipulate the rating system, (c) not use the platform for illegal activities, and (d) comply with all applicable laws in their jurisdiction.
7. Disclaimer
AskChains is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The platform is not responsible for: (a) smart contract vulnerabilities, (b) incorrect or misleading answers, (c) loss of funds due to user error, or (d) network fees (gas costs) incurred during transactions.
8. Fallback Mechanism
If you do not rate answers within 7 days after the response timer expires, a winner will be selected automatically from all eligible answers. This ensures answerers are always compensated for their effort.
