How AskChains Works

AskChains is a blockchain-based Q&A platform where users post questions with crypto rewards. Community members share real experiences, and the best answer wins the reward automatically via smart contract on Polygon.
Connect your wallet, click 'Ask a Question', write your question (min 20 characters), choose a reward token (USDT or POL), set the reward amount, and select a response duration. You'll confirm the transaction in your wallet to lock the reward on-chain.
When you ask a question, the reward amount is locked in a smart contract. After the timer expires, you rate all answers on a scale of 1–1000. The highest-rated answer wins the reward, which is automatically distributed via the smart contract.
Yes, you can cancel your question at any time before the timer expires, as long as no answers have been submitted yet. The full reward amount is refunded to your wallet automatically.
AskChains takes a 7.5% platform commission from each reward distribution. The remaining 92.5% goes directly to the winning answerer. The commission is handled automatically by the smart contract.
Click the 'Connect Wallet' button in the top-right corner. AskChains supports MetaMask, WalletConnect, and other popular wallets. You'll need to sign a message to verify your identity (Sign-In with Ethereum).
AskChains currently supports USDT (minimum 3 USDT per question) and POL (minimum 5 POL per question) on the Polygon network. More tokens may be added in the future.
Yes. Every transaction on Polygon requires a small amount of POL for gas fees. This applies even when using USDT as the reward token. Make sure you have some POL in your wallet before submitting a question or claiming a reward.
After your question's timer expires, you have 7 days to rate all answers. Each answer must receive a unique score between 1 and 1000 — no ties allowed. The highest score wins the reward.
If your question receives no answers by the time the timer expires, you can claim a full refund. Click the 'Claim Refund' button on your question page to receive your reward back.
If you don't submit ratings within 7 days after the timer expires, a winner is selected randomly from all eligible answers. You'll receive a reminder one day before the deadline.
Yes, all questions and answers are screened by an AI moderation system. Content that violates community guidelines (hate speech, harassment, etc.) is automatically rejected before reaching the blockchain.
